Conceived in 2010 as the first film festival in Asia dedicated to design, A Design Film Festival (DFF) launched in Singapore and has since travelled to over 10 cities globally including New York, Portland, Bangkok, and Seoul, with over 100,000 attendees. In 2015, the flagship Singapore edition attracted a record 9,800 attendees over 9 days.

I was approached by the director and creator of Design Film Festival who wanted to use my track for the opening video highlighting all of the films they were showing at the festival.

There was quite a bit of sound design involved in the making of this track. I spent hours mulling over chords that was inspire drama and wonder without leaving the listener in the clouds. I wanted something that someone could dance to but still imagine along with. The end result is a hybrid of acoustic and digital elements.
